Marlow Rosado presents all the music on his new Latin Jazz album, Salsa Album, and some of his classic tracks his fans know and love. Marlow’s shows are very high energy with nonstop music, amazing solos, and entertainment by the musicians.

 

High-energy, eclectic 2-time Grammy winner

Artist, producer, songwriter Marlow Rosado has over two decades experience in the music industry. With two Grammys and eleven nominations under his belt, Marlow is undoubtedly a driving force in the Latin music industry and one of the leading components in the salsa scene.

The multi-instrumentalist Marlow Rosado leads a 12-piece orchestra and is owner of one of Miami’s leading recording studios where artist such as Elvis Crespo, Ricky Martin, El Gran Combo, Alejandra Guzman, Jon Secada and many others, have produced some of their top selling musical productions. Marlow Rosado has earned his place as one of today’s most recognized songwriters with over 70 songs recorded by some of the most notable names in Latin music, an achievement that earned him the “La Musa” award at the 2015 Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Puerto Rican roots

Marlow Rosado was born in Puerto Rico and moved to Miami to attend Florida Atlantic University on a full paid scholarship where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Music Education.  After Graduation, Marlow went on to work as a Music teacher for the Miami Dade County School Board where for ten years he dedicated his life to bringing quality music education to our school. These efforts earned him a 2014 proclamation by then superintendent of MDCPS Alberto M. Carvalho and made him the 2015 distinguished alumnus recipient for the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters at FAU.

Multi-talent musician

He is continually sought-after by renowned artists in different Latin genres for his musical arrangement skills, aggressive montunos on the piano, as well as his ability to write, produce and direct hits in a variety of musical styles. From the driving rock-tracks co-written on Alejandra Guzman’s “Lipstick” album (nominated for Best Rock Album of the Year by both the American and Latin Grammys), to the emotionally charged Yolandita Monge’s production “SENTIMIENTO BORINQUEÑO”, as well as works with Elvis Crespo, Hector Acosta, and Puerto Rican Power, are a true showcase of Marlow’s creative elements. Marlow has had the pleasure of working with the iconic and legendary Celia Cruz, the unforgettable Tejana singer Selena, Marc Anthony, Maluma, Ricky Martin, Ricardo Montaner, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Olga Tañón, Tito Puentes Jr, Tito Nieves, Desmond Child, Rudy Perez, and many, others, but when you ask Rosado what is his most unforgettable moment as a producer, he quickly and without hesitation says “Producing a Christmas track on Idina Menzel’s 2019 Christmas album, yes… Idina Menzel.

Throughout the last ten years, Marlow has been performing nationally and internationally (Japan, Turkey, Greece, Spain, Italy, Nepal). He is an ambassador for brands such as T-Mobile, Samsung, Spirit Airlines and Elephant Tea.  His passion to give to those in need has led him on a crusade of continuous charity work in Haiti, Guatemala, Nepal, and Peru by collecting and shipping tons of perishable items, clothing and medical products to these countries. When asked about future goals, his answer is “To simply keep up with the ever-changing world of music so that I can do this till I take my last breath”.
