Mangrove Paddle - Take a naturalist guided tour from the boardwalk at Rutherford Park, 600 NE 24th St., Boca Raton. Presented by the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center. Following the tour, paddle through the mangrove trails and back along the shoreline of the Intracoastal. Experience is necessary. Wear clothes and shoes that can get wet and dirty. Sun protection, water and bug spray are recommended. Prerequisites: Must be proficient at paddling and maneuvering a canoe in open water and confined trails; Must be capable of getting into and out of a canoe from a dock and dry or muddy land on your own or with assistance from a companion; and must have the physical agility to get back into a canoe from the water, in case of tipping. Ages 7-adult, an adult must participate with each child. Held again 10:30 am-12:30 pm 2/25. 10 am-noon. $15/member, $22/non-member.
