The Alzheimer’s Association SE Florida Chapter, in association with St. Mary’s Memory Disorder Center and WellMed, will host the event, “Maintaining a Healthy Brain.” The afternoon educational session will explain what are some of the most common symptoms and signs of Alzheimer’s Disease. Licensed clinical social workers, Jackie Miller and Donna True will seek to help those in attendance better understand:

  • What are abnormal and normal memory traits.
  • Which are the main risk factors for Alzheimer’s Disease.
  • What are some protective measures against Alzheimer’s Disease.

                        Snack and beverages will be provided by WellMed.
