The St. Mark Catholic School National Jr Honor Society is hosting a "Loving Locks/Bald for Barulic" Event on March 9, 2012 starting at 11am in the school gym. Our most loved Christopher Barulic, "Coach B",  was diagnosed with cancer just before Christmas and has been undergoing extensive chemo therapy. In a grand effort to share our love we are inviting people to help us raise funds to help Chris with his hospital bills and show him support during this trying time. Students, faculty, friends and parents are getting their heads shaved or hair cut for pledges while top beauticians are donating their time. On the 9th of March our gym will turn into one giant barbershop/beauty parlor as we extend ourselves for Chris. Chris has been an asset to our school and often gives freely of his time to help and support our students and school as whole. When we are all on Thanksgiving break he is selling and delivering Christmas tree to raise money for the St. Mark Athletic department or on weekends he attends community sports events to raise awareness of our great school. We are hoping to get supporters from near and far, from those who know him and those do not- but feel compassion to share hair or any monetary contribution or card or letter showing support.
