Celebrating the arts and its ability to spark conversation and ignite change by bringing "Bunker" a one act stage play production directed by Jonathan Kelly to a theater near you. Bunker answers the question, how do you raise a Black Boy with no manual? Shani knows all too well what this world has to offer baby. In her attempt to save her son, she realizes that she is giving him much more than he can handle. Bunker takes you through the young life of Khalan and his mother as she finds herself becoming the very thing she is trying to protect him from. Through this story of love, we witness how wars unintentionally start in our homes and how to journey back to peace. Following the production the cast will have an open discussion on the condition of the African American Community as it relates to raising black men in an effort to open dialogue, create solutions, and bring back the village.
