 MULTI-GENERATIONAL LION OF JUDAH AND LION OF JUDAH ENDOWMENT BRUNCH

 

WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. – January 24, 2011 – Women’s Philanthropy of the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County will hold its combined Lion of Judah and Lion of Judah Endowment (LOJE) Legacy brunch, one of the division’s largest outreach events of the season, on Monday, January 31, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at The Mar-a-Lago Club, 1100 South Ocean Boulevard in Palm Beach.

 Best-selling author, relationship expert and journalism professor Iris Krasnow will be the featured guest speaker. Linda Golden, Deirdre Osofsky, Adele Shamban and Hope Silverman are the event co-chairs. Nancy C. Hart and Lisa J. Leder are vice-co-chairs. Event sponsors include S. Michael Ereshna, The Special Event Resource & Design Group; Lydian Bank &Trust; Eric Shamban of The Chocolate Bar; and Mildred Hoit.

An $85 couvert includes valet parking. A $6,000 minimum commitment to Women’s Philanthropy of the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County Campaign 2011 is required. Attendees are invited to bring their mother, daughter or granddaughter. A personal invitation may also be extended to women who are not currently Lions in the greater Palm Beaches but may become one in the future. No minimum gift is required for guests of Lion/LOJE donors.

To become a Lion of Judah, women must contribute $6,000 or more to Federation’s Annual Campaign. The LOJE enables women to ensure that their Lion of Judah commitment continues in perpetuity. A woman who makes a minimum $6,000 Annual Campaign contribution can establish a LOJE with an endowment of at least $120,000.
