The peace studies program in Florida Atlantic University’s Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters presents a lecture with Dan Millman, former world-champion gymnast, Stanford coach, martial arts instructor and subject of the movie “The Peaceful Warrior.” Millman will discuss journeys through daily life and ways to find refreshing wisdom to light the way.
Millman speaks worldwide, presenting practical ways to live with a peaceful heart and warrior spirit. He brings a light-hearted approach to the challenges of everyday life at work and home, teaching audiences to live a more meaningful and purposeful life in the real world. Millman wrote 15 books read by millions of people in 29 languages. The most famous of these books is “The Way of the Peaceful Warrior,” which tells the story of Millman’s life and his journey to becoming a spiritual and motivational author and teacher. He teaches worldwide, and has influenced men and women from all walks of life, including leaders in the fields of health, psychology, education, business, politics, sports, entertainment and the arts.
