LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS TAKES ON HEALTH CARE The League of Women Voters, Palm Beach County, will join the fray on the Health Care Crisis on Wednesday October 26th from 10:15 A.M. to noon at its new meeting place, the Birght Blue Compass Building, 201 North Dixie Highway on the North West corner of 2nd Avenue in Lake Worth. (561 533 9699) League members Rita Wachs, Elayne Goodman and Helene Genser will review the consensus position adopted by League in 1993, as well as its present advocacy position at Congressional Hearings. Miriam Aaron, R.N., Clinical Instructor, Columbia University School of Nursing and MPA Master of Public Administration with New York State will speak on the history of health care in the U.S., and a video, "Sick Around The World," will be shown, depicting the contrasting health systems of six other advanced countries.
