Juneteenth is an annual event celebrating the ending of slavery in Texas.  This is a family friendly festival that will include BBQ, historic trolly tours, music and an opportunity to record your family story and document your personal history for future generations!

The Spady Cultural Heritage Museum, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization located at 170 NW Fifth Avenue in the historic West Settlers District of Delray Beach, is dedicated to discovering, collecting and sharing the African-American history and heritage of Florida. Located in the former home of the late Solomon D. Spady, the most prominent African American educator and community leader in Delray Beach from 1922 to 1957, the museum opened in July 2001 and is the only African American Cultural Heritage museum of its kind in Palm Beach County.
