The Juilliard Jazz Artist Diploma program provides an individualized program of study for emerging artists in the pre-professional stages of their careers. Artist Diploma students spend their time at Juilliard honing their performance, composition and teaching skills. These talented musicians are taught by today’s most active, innovative, and respected jazz musicians. The experienced Juilliard Jazz faculty combines a remarkable variety of technical and musical skill, as demonstrated on stages worldwide. The Juilliard Jazz Artist Diploma Ensemble has recently performed in Costa Rica, New Orleans and Detroit. Some upcoming highlights include tours to Brazil and Costa Rica and feature performances aboard the Queen Mary 2 in 2011.
