Julius Sanna is a Tanzanian born, Kenyan raised, American influenced guitarist, composer and singer. When he moved to the United States he met and collaborated with other musicians from other parts of the world like Mexico and Brazil. His music is a reflection of his international exposure blending African grooves with funk and soul with a touch of contemporary jazz. His influences include Osibisa, Carlos Santana and George Benson. He features South Florida’s grooviest collection of musicians to make it a memorable evening.

PERFORMER BIO:
Musician, minister and motivational speaker Julius Sanna, along with his wife Julia, created the Positively Africa brand whose mission is to spread the positive message and highlight the beauty of the African continent. His music is a dynamic blend of African rhythms, jazz, funk and pop. His spiritual acuity guides his musical message of hope and love for all people. He has performed at the Diversity Festival in Delray Beach, Nova Southeastern University, and Arts Garage. He believes cultural diversity is a strength of our communities and music is a powerful way to achieve that goal.
