Only the Dixie Highway location will be open on Monday, August 9 in honor of the grand reopening. Normal business hours for all three locations will resume on Tuesday, August 10.
Joshua Thrift Store proceeds directly support the programs and services of The Lord’s Place. The stores provide an opportunity for formerly homeless clients to complete customer service work experience training in a retail setting. Vouchers to “purchase” clothing, furniture, and other essential items are given to clients of The Lord’s Place at no cost to help them in their journey out of homelessness.
Highly motivated employees and volunteers who are passionate for helping others play the key role in the support and success of the Joshua Thrift Stores. The Lord’s Place is currently seeking more employees and volunteers to help in the thrift stores. For employment opportunities, visit: www.thelordsplace.org/employment. For more information regarding volunteering, visit www.thelordsplace.org/volunteer.
All three thrift store locations accept donations. For items that need to be picked up, email donate@thelordsplace.org or call 561.537.4666.
NOTE: Due to the increased COVID positivity rate in Palm Beach County and in an effort to keep staff and guests safe, masks will be required for entry.
