Sunday - 9/22 - Introduction to Paddle Sports Skills Workshop at Spanish River Park, 3001 N. State Road A1A, Boca Raton. Designed to emphasize safety, education, skill acquisition and most of all fun for entry-level individuals interested in kayaking and/or stand up paddleboarding. Equipment provided. For adults and children ages 6 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult and must be able to swim and hold their breath. Registration can be done at the Boca Raton Community Center, 150 Crawford Blvd. No on-site registration. Pre-registration by 9 pm F for Sat. sessions and by 1 pm Sat. for Sun. sessions. Held again 3-6pm 9/28. 9am-noon. $75/residents, $94/non-residents per class. 393-7807.
