FAU Presents a Sneak Preview of Hooray for Hollywood Music Review
Professional and Graduate Student Actors Take to the Stage
BOCA RATON, FL (May 18, 2011) – Florida Atlantic University presents a sneak preview of their summer presentation of the music review “Hooray for Hollywood: A Tribute to the Best Movie Musicals of All Time,” as well as a tour of Living Room Theaters, the movie theaters and restaurant that opened on the FAU’s Boca Raton campus late last year. The event will take place on Thursday, May 26, at 9 a.m., starting at Living Room Theaters. The music preview will take place at 10 a.m. in the University Theatre, which is located adjacent to Living Room Theaters.
“Hooray for Hollywood” is one of the shows in this year’s Festival Repertory Theatre, which runs from June 24 through July 24 and includes the music review and the musical comedy “The 1940s Radio Hour.” Both plays take place in the 500-seat University Theatre. There will also be three additional showings of Hooray for Hollywood at the Mos’ Art Theatre in Lake Park on July 29 and 30. Directions: I-95 to Glades Road exit east. Proceed to second traffic light and take a left into the FAU campus. Take the first right on Indian River Street. Take the second left and the Living Room Theaters will be in front of you. There is ample parking in front of the theater.
