Join us a full-day professional workshop exploring with Dr. Irit Felsen on the long-term effects of trauma on Holocaust Survivors and the intergenerational transmission of trauma to the children of Survivors (2Gs).In Part 1 of the workshop, between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., Dr. Felsen explores “Intergenerational Transmission in Holocaust Survivor Families” and such topics as how the experiential knowledge of an event that took place before one was born impacts the children and grandchildren of Survivors. Part II of the workshop, between 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. reviews the “Unique Strengths of Children of Survivors” and the psychological strengths and vulnerabilities of children of Holocaust Survivors.
