Santa Spotted Surfing at Holiday Surf Camp
Hey kids! Spend this holiday break learning how to surf. Surf camps for youth ages 6 and up will be held from 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Oceanfront Park, 6415 N. Ocean Blvd., Ocean Ridge. Experienced surfer and instructor Reinaldo Schiavinato will focus on the basics, including how to paddle, standup and turn. The CPR certified professional surf staff makes safety the number one priority and are committed to providing a 100% stand up experience.
Sessions: December 21-23 and December 28-30. Fees: $156 Non-Residents; $125 Residents, prices are per surf camp and include all necessary equipment, including use of surf boards. Remember to wear plenty of sunscreen, bring bottled water, and water sandals.
Pre-Registration is required for all recreation programs. Registration takes place at the Intracoastal Park Clubhouse, Tuesday - Thursday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.; Friday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Bring proof of residency (current utility bill), and for children a birth certificate is required. The Intracoastal Park Clubhouse is located at 2240 N. Federal Hwy., just south of Gateway Blvd. Contact the registration office at (561) 742-6650.
