Ceramic League of the Palm Beaches: “Holiday Exhibit and Sale” November 19, 20, 21 West Palm Beach, Fla.: The Ceramic League of the Palm Beaches annual Holiday Sale and Exhibit opening reception is on Thursday, November 19, from 5 to 8 p.m. Artists will demonstrate pottery making and art techniques while guests enjoy a buffet and wine. Original art by League members includes pottery, sculpture, fused glass, mixed media. These affordable, fine-crafted art objects are ideal for holiday gifts. The show runs through Saturday, November 21, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Artists will be present each day to chat with visitors about the clay and its many uses as an art form. The Ceramic League is a non-profit artist group dedicated to the advancement in the education of its artist members, as well as promoting public interest in the appreciation of ceramic arts in the Palm Beach County community. Proceeds from League events are awarded each year as a scholarship to a graduating high school senior to further his or her career in the ceramic arts. Admission is free. The exhibit will take place at the Craft Gallery, 5911 South Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach. A landmark is the large Carvel ice-cream cones that mark the entrance to the parking lot.
