Take a trip back in time to the Victorian era in the beautifully decorated Historic Stranahan House Museum. During guided tours, scheduled for 6, 7 and 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20 and Friday, Dec. 23, costumed tour guides will narrate the origins of many holiday traditions and demonstrate how pioneers celebrated Christmas. This year, Stranahan House is also open for self-guided tours from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 16, Saturday, Dec. 17 and Thursday, Dec. 22. Guests can take their own whimsical journey of Christmas past amid picture-perfect Victorian era décor. Costumed tour guides in fabulous gowns and waist coats will be available throughout the museum. Tickets for the Victorian Holiday Tours are $20 for members and $25 for non-members and available at https://stranahanhouse.org/events. Advanced registration is required.
