May is National High Blood Pressure Education Month, and FAU is partnering with the Boca Raton Public Library to help people reduce their risk of high blood pressure, also known as hypertension. In a free presentation, “High Blood Pressure Prevention” with Dr. Leonard Berkowitz, attendees will learn what hypertension is and what causes it; symptoms of hypertension to be on the lookout for; what to eat to reduce their risk of hypertension; and how to treat hypertension.
