Saturdays are sure to be a blast when young artists, ages 4-8, explore a variety of painting techniques, including water color and finger paints. Participants should be prepared for messy painting fun by wearing an old t-shirt. Benefits of participation include learning basic painting techniques and developing basic art skills. Courses are led by local artist Doreen Reilly, who brings her experience and creativity to these classes. Classes for ages 4-8 meet on Saturday from 12:15 – 1:30 p.m. Fees: $60 per non-resident and $48 per resident for each session. Session I: September 19 - October 24; Session II: November 7 – December 19. All classes meet at the Intracoastal Park Clubhouse, 2240 N. Federal Highway. Pre-Registration is required for all recreation programs. Registration takes place at Intracoastal Park Clubhouse. Hours: Tuesday – Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., and Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Please bring proof of residency when you register and for children a birth certificate is required.
