Celebrates: Father’s Day– Friday, June 18 6-9 PM
It’s a Beer and Pretzel Evening at the Gallery with the
“Heroes in Our Own Backyards”
Palm Beach artist Sara Lerner and Wellington artist Norm Gitzen will host a Father’s Day party at the Clay Glass Metal Stone Gallery in downtown Lake Worth. It’s an old fashioned Father’s Day celebration with hot dogs, popcorn, beer and pretzels. For those non-beer-drinking dads, PRP Wine International will present a special wine tasting. The celebration starts at 6 PM at 605 Lake Avenue in downtown Lake Worth.
Norm and Sara will curate a gallery show diverse enough to stimulate the love of art in every Dad who attends. A massive sculpture of “Icarus” will take flight and land outside the gallery in time to welcome Dads to the celebration. This is the first public appearance in five years of "Icarus," a large work by world famous sculptor Tom Maley. He will be on display and available for photo-ops outside the gallery for this day only.
Plant a tree in honor of your Dad. Clay Glass Metal Stone gallery has twenty-five Royal Poinciana Trees for the first twenty-five Fathers’s entering the gallery. Hang out with the artists who create the the wide variety of work within the gallery. Pour your beer into a one-of-a-kind handcrafted mug. Treat your dad to a night on the town starting at the Clay Glass Metal Stone Gallery.
PRP Wine International will host a wine tasting for the Fathers Day Celebration. They represent wines from small, vineyards throughout the world. These wines are exclusive and are all natural.
Clay•Glass•Metal•Stone Cooperative Gallery is sponsored by the Flamingo Clay Studio, a non-profit arts organization whose mission is to provide affordable studio and gallery space for three-dimensional artists. The gallery is located at 605 Lake Avenue in downtown Lake Worth.
