The South Florida Wildlife Center, an affiliate of The Humane Society of the United States, will hold a "Hero Night" friend-raising event from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, at DIG Restaurant, at 777 East Atlantic Ave. in Delray Beach. Event co-chairs are Jeffrey Arciniaco, Anne and Walker Henderson, Diane Colonna and Jeff Perlman, LuAnn Warner-Prokos and John Prokos, Lisa and Craig Romer and Laurie and Glen Udine.
