Discover the fierce competition between the Union Pacific and Central Pacific Railroads, the challenges faced by Chinese and Irish laborers, and the wild “Hell on Wheels” towns that followed the tracks. From dangerous work camps to the historic driving of the Golden Spike, explore the people, struggles, and events that helped connect a nation.
