In this three-day hands on workshop, Joseph Meehan will introduce digital techniques that use multiple exposures of the same scene to capture a much wider brightness range (HDR/Exposure Fusion) or to produce panoramic photographs by stitching the frames together.
Joe will explain and illustrate the differences between HDR & Exposure Fusion methods for capture including how many frames to expose and how they can be optimized before treatment in an HDR/EF program. In addition, the concept behind stitched panoramic imaging will be covered including the use of specialized equipment and how HDR/EF techniques can be integrated with the stitched image. You will practice these methods photographing subjects of your choice, and then Joe Meehan will show you how to use different software programs to process your images pointing out the options available in each situation. Much of the information and techniques used in this course can be found in Meehan’s latest book: Advanced Imaging.
