Hammock Pointe: Express Yourself

at Boca Raton Museum of Art

Writing about art can be as fun as making it. The Museum’s partnership with Hammock Pointe Elementary takes a new twist with a new, fully integrated curriculum-based project for third graders centered on ekphrasis, a technique of writing vivid descriptions of art. Student portraits and written narratives are featured in this exhibition.

Hammock Pointe: Express Yourself will be on view at the Boca Raton Museum of Art from April 21 through June 14, 2015.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am until 5pm, on Thursdays from 10am until 8pm, Saturdays and Sundays from Noon until 5pm and is closed on Mondays and holidays.
