Boca Raton: The Children’s Museum invites you to enjoy a day Uncle Willy as MC and The Mad Lab Crafts by Cheryl on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, at Halloween Happenings at the Boca Raton Green Market, at Royal Palm Place, South Federal Highway and Mizner Blvd., Boca Raton. Dress up your doggy up for the Doggy Costume Contest. Prizes donated by Sloan’s Ice Cream Parlor and “Downtown It’s Happening” merchants. Categories for the contest include Most Original, Funniest and Look-A-Like. Judging times will be from 9:30-10:30 am. Registration located by main stage. Registration fee: $5. All proceeds benefit the ongoing educational programs of the Children’s Museum. Bring your best scream in costume and enter the Video Scream Contest! To be shown on Museum Web Site – Videoing will be from 11 a.m.-noon. Fifty Dollar Savings Bond for the best scream is donated by Mercantile Bank, a trade name of TD Bank. Video Streaming is underwritten by a donation from Linda Sandelman
