Saturday Halloween Happenings! in Downtown Boca presented by the Sun-Sentinel include a children’s costume contest sponsored by South Florida Parenting as well as a pet costume contest, “shop-to-shop” trick or treating, Happy Halloween Hours including special cocktail offers and family dining menus at participating restaurants followed by a live BeetleJuice Rock n’ Roll Monster Revue.
The Saturday Halloween Happenings! programming is part of Downtown Boca’s second Annual Meet Me On The Promenade (MMOTP), free, family and pet-friendly, open to the public, festival-style community event showcasing the eclectic live-work-play-stay features of Boca's new generation Downtown for all generations, this year with a Saturday afternoon sporting Halloween Twist.
Starting at 10 a.m. MMOTP “Stroll, Shop & Savor Downtown Boca” festivities include ongoing live entertainment, memory-making photo stops, Family Zone with playground, “Game On” Sports Zone, V.I.B. (Very Important Bike) parking, Art Attack! Artists & Crafters Village Expo, Antique and Classic Car Exhibitions, Health-full community pavilion, Nonprofit Community Corner, Boca Raton GreenMarket, Gourmet Truck Expo “Food Courts”, “Chances to win” gift certificates, “after parties” at Downtown Boca clubs and pubs, and more. There will also be demos, tastings and sidewalk truck shows and family activities as well as special Promenade discounts, menus and extended hours by participating retailers and restaurants. Plenty of free parking and complimentary trolley transportation will be available throughout the Promenade locale.
WHEN: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 27th; Halloween Happenings begin at 3 p.m.; Meet Me On The Promenade kicks off at 10 a.m. and runs until 10 p.m.
