Halloween-Downtown Lake Worth
The Merchants of Lake Worth Make it Happen
Friday October 28 and Saturday October 29
Halloween in downtown Lake Worth will be a two day Party of Family, Fantasy, Fright and Fun. The entire town will participate with candy, contests, concerts and costumes. Events will take place on Friday, October 28 and Saturday, October 29. All events are free to the public.
The Merchants of Lake Worth, determined to make this village the epicenter of Holiday Creativity and Action have designed a Halloween Adventure destined to become a yearly tradition attracting visitors from all over. The merchants meet weekly planning events making Lake Worth a continual destination. Every holiday speaks to the season. Merchants create special Evenings on the Avenue every first and third Fridays and hold Second Saturday Sidewalk Sales.
Halloween is traditionally celebrated with a distinctive parade. This year as the parade lies in hiatis, the merchants have tripled their efforts to give visitors the best, most exciting Halloween ever. Lake Worth morphs into an old fashioned town with turn-of-the-last-century fun for every one. Popcorn, candied apples and holiday treats are all over town. The BBQ vendor is a new town fixture and serves up the best BBQ in the region. It’s a taste fest from one end of town to the other.
Bands and Music everywhere. Trick and Treating from shop to shop. Contests with prizes held nearly every hour on the hour. Windows lure and entrance street browsers. Tasty foods and aromas fill the avenue. Vendors and Street Performers delight visitors. A Haunted Theater and Scary Movies cap off the eerie evenings.
The Downtown Cultural Alliance (DCA) is a non-profit association of Downtown merchants and residents working together to keep Downtown Lake Worth vibrant and welcoming. The DCA is working the Lake Worth CRA and LULA, the City of Lake Worth and the Lake Worth Chamber of Commerce to coordinate Evenings on the Avenue, the Second Saturday Sidewalk Sales, all Holiday Events and special events.
