The most prestigious 6-wicket golf croquet invitational in the world is coming to the International Polo Club Palm Beach! Eight top international players, including the current WORLD CHAMPION from Ireland and the former three-time world champion from Egypt, will play for a purse of $8,000, February 22-26th. Spectating is FREE and open to the public throughout the tournament, including the International Golf Croquet Tournament on February 25.
SUMMARY OF EVENTS:
Tuesday, Feb 21--practice play at International Polo Club & National Croquet Center for the eight players, beginning 9:00 AM. (Cocktail party for the players, at Int. Polo Club, 5:00 PM.)
Wednesday, Feb 22 –9:00 AM Opening Ceremonies and Pro-Am at IPC pairing players with members of the Int Polo Croquet Club. OFFICIAL GAMES begin around 2:00 PM
Thursday, Feb 23 - Golf Croquet Tournament games at IPC.
Friday, Feb 24 - Golf Croquet Tournament games at IPC & NCC.
Saturday, Feb 25 – International Golf Croquet Tournament games at IPC & NCC.
Saturday, Feb 25 – 12 Noon, EXHIBITION GAME at NCC, between World Champions Younis & McInerney; followed by visitor trial games. Tournament play continues after lunch at IPC and NCC.
Sunday, Feb 26 – 8:30 AM Semi-finals and Finals at The International Polo Club. Awarding of cash purses and prizes.
