Gift of Life Bone Marrow Foundation (www.giftoflife.org), an international bone marrow registry that facilitates bone marrow and blood stem cell matches and transplants for patients with leukemia, lymphoma and other blood-related disease, will hold its second Strikes for Life Bowling Tournament on Sunday, October 19th. Registration is at 9 a.m. and bowling begins at 10 a.m. at Strikes at Boca, 21046 Commercial Trail, Boca Raton.
Cash prizes include $1,500 for first place, $1,000 for second place, $750 for third place and $250 for 4th place. Brackets and Scratch Pot games will be available and four games are guaranteed with a step ladder final four. One out of six pays. The entry fee is $60. Funds raised will test additional kits to expand the bone marrow donor registry, find more bone marrow matches and save more lives.
