We open our meeting season with two well-known members giving presentations: Carlos Ruth, our librarian and website manager, and Larry Vick, our registrar/treasurer.

First Presentation:  Website Changes

Have you noticed the changes on the society’s website lately?  Carlos has been busy during the summer months working on implementing numerous enhancements. He will demonstrate all that is new and highlight areas that perhaps we may be underutilizing or have forgotten about, and remind us of other tabs of interest that every member can use.

Second Presentation: Using Evernote in Genealogy

There continues to be growing chatter among genealogists about how Evernote is becoming their favorite go-to app for anything one needs to organize, document, or remember.  For those of you who attended the NGS Conference this past May, you may have noticed a session about using Evernote in genealogy, and these sessions  continue to pop up at genealogy conferences. Join us as Larry shares how he uses this handy application in his genealogy research. If you are not already using Evernote, you may very well become the next convert to use this valuable resource.

All meetings are open to the public.
