In a series of four French films, this course examines French society's vastly different social and geographic diversity. We'll watch four films in French (with Eng subtitles) that take place in a different region of France each week, and then discuss them thoroughly afterward in English, following guidelines that direct the viewer's attention to various cultural factors. This 4-week lecture series takes place 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm.
