Torch demonstrations are scheduled as follows:
10:00 am - Solid color & clear core latticino
(making cane by mixing colors, basic borosilicate colorant chemistry)
10:30 am- Mandrel beads, striking colors & stable colors
(silver-based colors vs. crayon colors)
11:00 am - Mandrel beads, surface decoration & clear encasement
(dots, stripes, waves, bubbles)
11:30 am - Solid implosion pendants with frit
(made on solid glass rods)
1:00 pm - Mandrel beads, shaping techniques
(tabular beads, bicones, squares, rondele)
1:30 pm - Blown implosion pendant
(montage style, multi-colors & patterns)
