Watch and Learn how glass beads and pendants are made. This will truly be an exciting and unique experience here at McMow and you won’t want to miss it!

Torch demonstrations are scheduled as follows:
10:00 am - Solid color & clear core latticino
(making cane by mixing colors, basic borosilicate colorant chemistry)

10:30 am- Mandrel beads, striking colors & stable colors
(silver-based colors vs. crayon colors)

11:00 am - Mandrel beads, surface decoration & clear encasement
(dots, stripes, waves, bubbles)

11:30 am - Solid implosion pendants with frit
(made on solid glass rods)

1:00 pm - Mandrel beads, shaping techniques
(tabular beads, bicones, squares, rondele)

1:30 pm - Blown implosion pendant
(montage style, multi-colors & patterns)

Ms. Tavares will also be having a trunk show throughout the day. Watch and learn, and then take home a piece of her stunning work!
