  • Location: Flywheel Boca
  • Latest Activity: Sep 23, 2020
WHO:  Flywheel Boca, an indoor cycling studio located in Glades Plaza, and Hearts for Soles, a nonprofit organization that supports at-risk children, join forces to support foster youth served by Best Foot Forward Foundation.

WHAT:  Two 45-minute indoor cycling rides at Flywheel Boca taught by Master Indoor Cycling instructor Angela Lutin, one of South Florida’s most sought after fitness personalities, to benefit Hearts for Soles and Best Foot Forward.  The event will help provide high-school aged foster youth with brand new shoes to start the school year off right. The goal is to collect 100 pairs of new shoes. The 7:15 PM event has been sold out and a second 6:15 PM event has been added.

WHEN:  Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 6:15 PM and 7:15 PM

WHERE: Flywheel Boca, 2200 Glades Road, Suite 401, Boca Raton FL (561)

WHY:  With the anticipation of a new school year, all students get excited about shopping for new things.  For many youth in foster care, the ritual of preparing for school typically doesn't happen and they often begin the school year unprepared. Flywheel Boca and Hearts for Soles have joined together to ensure each foster youth served by Best Foot Forward has a new pair of shoes to start the school year with confidence. Admission to the event is one pair of new shoes.
