YMCA of South Palm Beach County to Host First Corporate Cup Challenge
Friendly Competition Among Community Businesses to Support Financial Assistance Program
WHAT: The YMCA of South Palm Beach County is kicking off its first ever Corporate Cup Challenge; an Olympic-style, co-ed team competition featuring games designed to celebrate health and wellness in the workplace while encouraging teambuilding. All funds raised go to support the Y's Financial Assistance Program.
Participating teams include; NCCI, Daszkal Bolton, Grant Thornton, Fifth Third bank, PNC bank, FAU Adams School of Business, Fitnessmith, Athlete’s Edge, YMCA of Miami, Cendyn, and spark* creative. Activities will vary in difficulty, ranging from the likes of the “Quick Change Relay” and “Sod Surfing” to “Tug of War” and “Human Wheelbarrow Minefield”, just to name a few. Awards will be given to the top three teams, and the overall team champion will be presented with the Corporate Cup Trophy to display in their office for the year, as well as bragging rights.
WHEN: Saturday, Nov 19th, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the YMCA of Boca Raton Fields.
