FAU Summer Concert Band - presented as part of the "Summer in the City" Music Series at Mizner Park Amphitheater, 590 Plaza Real, Boca Raton. This concert will be an "old-time concert-in-the-park" with lots of marches, Broadway tunes and a sing-along - the kind of concert that used to happen in small towns across the country during the summer months. The band, under the direction of Dr. Kyle Prescott, is comprised of college students from every major university in Florida, a unique and talented group of musicians. Bring a blanket or chair (chair rentals available for $2 donation). 7 pm. Free. 393-7827 or www.myboca.us.
