Have you ever wondered how our galaxy was formed? Join Florida Atlantic University’s Ata Sarajedini, Ph.D., as he unravels the mysteries of space in an engaging presentation at the Boca Raton Downtown Library, “The Formation and Evolution of Our Galaxy: What We Can Learn from Variable Stars.” Dr. Sarajedini will explore how galaxies form and evolve; where the sun comes from and how old it is; the future of our solar system; why some stars shine brighter; and, how to use stars to explore history. This program is free but registration is recommended through the calendar at bocalibrary.org.
