NORTON MUSEUM OF ART TRANSPORTS FAMILIES

“OUT OF THIS WORLD”

 

WHAT:               The Norton Museum of Art will take families and kids of all ages on a sci-fi adventure at its upcoming Family Day, hosted in conjunction with the Museum’s newest exhibition, Out of this World: Extraordinary Costumes from Film and Television. Throughout the day, visitors can tour the exhibition and learn about the art of costume design; participate in a sci-fi cartoon-drawing workshop and a robot-making art lab; meet Darth Vader and Mr. Spock through a performance by The Hopeless Romantics; explore the Museum in an “Out of this World” treasure hunt, and more. Family Day will be one of the first chances the public can view the exhibition, which opens June 4 and runs through Sept. 4.

COST:                 Free after Museum admission. Admission is $12 for visitors 21 years and older; $5 for visitors 13-21 years; and free for visitors under 13 years.
