WHO: Boynton Beach – Free Event WHAT: Boynton Beach Police Department’s 90th Anniversary Party and Cops and Rodders Car Show WHERE: 100 block of E. Ocean Avenue – just east of Seacrest Boulevard WHEN: Saturday, June 12, 2010, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM Celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the Boynton Beach Police Department, with your family and hundreds of your closest friends and neighbors. The festivities will include a classic car show and live music by local favorite, Cricklewood. You can also try your hand at submerging one of Boynton’s finest, in the Police Officer Dunk Tank. There will be airbrush tattoos, kids fingerprinting, and a rock climbing wall for children of all ages to enjoy. At 12 noon, don’t miss a special unveiling of the fully restored 1953 Buick Police Car. This ceremony will honor the hard work and dedication of the students in Boynton Beach’s Youth Violence Prevention Program (YVPP). Food and beverage vendors will be on site throughout the entire event. Park and ride the free shuttle from Bank of America at Federal Highway and Ocean Avenue. Information line - 561-742-6246.
