The 23rd US Ambassador to Hungary, former Chief of Protocol of the US, and founder of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Nancy G. Brinker discusses Art and Diplomacy and her extensive collection of Hungarian Art that spans 100 years from just before the fall of the Austro-Hungarian Empire to the present day. This collection, on view as part of the Museum’s Art of Hungary exhibitions, is one of the largest outside of Hungary. Ambassador Brinker serves as the World Health Organization’s Goodwill Ambassador for Cancer Control. In addition, in 2009 she received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Barack Obama.
