The Real Reason Behind Tragic Shooting Examined in Play “columbinus”

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Bhetty Waldron Theatre at the Actor’s Repertory Company is presenting, in a return by popular demand, “columbinus” (lowercase intended), a documentary drama that probes the psychological warfare of alienation, hostility, severe bullying and social pressure that goes on in high schools across America.  It was sparked by the 1999 massacre at Columbine High School in Jefferson County, Colorado.

Ultimately, "columbinus" asks more than just "Why?" but perhaps more importantly, "Why do people treat each other the way we do?" "columbinus" is a fascinating and heartbreaking examination of human behavior.

Performances, featuring advanced students from the teen classes at Actor’s Rep. will be: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday May 10-12, 8 p.m.; Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and Sunday May 31 through June 2, 8 p.m. and Sunday, June 3 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for students. They may be purchased from the www.actorsrep.org website or from www.boxofficetickets.com
