City of Delray Beach Hosts USTA Boys 18 & 16 National Clay Court Championships The City of Delray Beach is a proud sponsor of the USTA Boys 18 & 16 National Clay Court Championships, which will be held July 18 - 25, 2010. Five hundred (500) of the country's top ranked Boys 18 and 16 players will compete in this prestigious amateur sporting event. Previous participants in this Tier 1 National Championship included Andy Roddick, the Bryan Brothers, James Blake, Andre Agassi, John Isner and Sam Querrey. The matches are free and the public is invited to watch exceptional court action by America's upcoming stars. The Delray Beach Stadium and Tennis Center, 201 West Atlantic Avenue, will serve as the main venue for the Championships with three (3) other venues also hosting matches: the Delray Beach Swim & Tennis Club, 2350 Jaeger Drive, the Broken Sound Country Club, 2401 Willow Springs Drive, Boca Raton and the Boca West Country Club, 20583 Boca West Drive, Boca Raton. All Quarterfinal, Semifinal and Championship matches will be played at the Delray Beach Stadium & Tennis Center on Friday, July 23rd through Sunday, July 25th. The USTA will be awarding the 18 Singles Champion a Singles Main Draw Wildcard at the US Open Juniors & a Main Draw Wildcard in a Futures Event. The 16 Singles Champion will receive a Singles Qualifying Wildcard at a USTA Men's Futures Event (players must be age eligible). The winner of the Boys 18 Championship will earn a Wildcard spot in the 2011 Delray Beach International Tennis Championships (ITC) Qualifying Draw. Sun Sports Florida will televise tournament highlights and national coverage of the Singles Final for both Boys 18 and 16 will be featured on Direct TV and Dish (Sports Package).
