Delray's Centennial Celebration On the Avenue - All are Welcome to attend!!

Taking place in Downtown Delray Beach, on Atlantic Avenue between Swinton Avenue to 6th Avenue.

  • Centennial Strolling Parade

  • Games, Trivia and Historic Adventure
  • Tasting Bars and Oktoberfest
  • Time capsule reveal

The event will begin with a mayoral strolling parade at 6:30 pm starting in front of the historic Colony Hotel and traveling west down this 100 year old avenue to the historic Old School Square, followed by a huge anniversary cake cutting ceremony.

At 8:00 pm, Join Mayor Woodie McDuffie on the stage at Worthing Park as he and Dottie Patterson, Archivist for the Delray Beach Historical Society, while they open the Time Capsule from 1986, Delray's 75th Anniversary. 

This once in a lifetime celebration will be an event that is fun for the entire family and one you will not want to miss!
