CHRISTMAS CANTATA: "Glad Tidings of Great Joy" with music by Robert Hebble and narration by Jason Doyle Fairbanks. Church of the Palms, 1960 N Swinton Ave, Delray Beach. Sunday, December 12 at 4 pm in the Church Sanctuary. Program is free and open to the public. A free-will offering will be taken and a reception will follow the program. The Cantata celebrates the birth of Christ as seen through the eyes of the elder patriarch Simeon. The musical score is filled with exciting arrangements of hymns and carols, climaxing with "O Holy Night." The composer of the Cantata, Robert Hebble, will accompany the Church choir on the pipe organ, along with harpist Nancy Ann Gillan. The narrator, Jason Doyle Fairbanks, will be singing with the Church choir.
