October 2, 2012: The City of Delray Beach is proud to host the 2012 Chris Evert/Raymond James Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic from October 26-28, 2012. Tennis legend Chris Evert, in association with Broward Health Chris Evert Children's Hospital, will be joined by renowned athletes and well known celebrities to support at-risk children and families in Palm Beach County and Florida against drug abuse and child neglect.
The Classic begins on Friday, October 26th, when Chris Evert and friends will welcome guests at two (2) exciting events at the Boca Raton Resort and Club: The Pro-Am Tennis & Lunch and the Classic Cocktail Reception. The Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic, which promises to entertain spectators, will be held the next day (Saturday, October 27th, 11:00 am to 3:00 pm) at the Delray Beach Tennis Center, 201 West Atlantic Avenue. That night, following tennis action, the Pro-Celebrity Gala will provide a special evening of dining and dancing at the Boca Raton Resort & Club. Weekend Pro-Celebrity tennis continues at the Delray Beach Tennis Center on Sunday, October 28th, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
