Children’s Harbor celebrates a milestone 10th Annual Harbor Lights Gala, themed Prom Through the Decades, at the Charles F. Dodge City Center, 601 City Center Way in Pembroke Pines, on Friday, May 19 from 6:30 to 10 p.m.
Whether you’ve been to your high school prom or decided not to attend, the invitation is open to everyone to attend the “Prom Through the Decades.” Guests can choose their favorite decade and dress for that era. Expect spunky wigs, flashy dresses, sequins, vintage flair, full skirts, big sleeves, bobby socks, saddle shoes, wide ties and more.
To set the mood, Prom Through the Decades will come to life in the theme-inspired retro-like gymnasium at the Charles F. Dodge City Center. Here guests will enjoy dinner, cocktails, a night filled with decades of nostalgic music, dancing and other surprises.
Funds raised during the Harbor Lights Gala Prom Through the Decades benefits Children’s Harbor, a nationally accredited nonprofit agency with a mission to help strengthen families in our community, while providing safe shelter and support to teens in foster care.
“I want everyone to know that they can bring together their family, friends, neighbors and colleagues and have an incredible experience at our Gala,” said Children’s Harbor CEO Tiffani Dhooge. “This is a chance for all of us to get creative and come to the prom you always wanted to attend. It will be one of the highlights of prom season!”
