Kick off the holiday season and enjoy prime viewing of the 2022 Winterfest Boat Parade when Children’s Harbor and ABC Cares Foundation host Operation Santa’s Workshop: Holiday Party on Saturday, December 10 from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. at Shooters Waterfront, 3033 NE 32nd Ave. in Fort Lauderdale.
Open to the public, the holiday mixer benefits Children’s Harbor, a nationally accredited non-profit agency with a mission to help strengthen families who are struggling in the community, while providing safe shelter and support to teens in foster care so that they may grow into healthy, educated, and productive adults, and ABC Cares Foundation, a non-profit formed with the goal of giving back to members of the construction industry who have been impacted by tragedies such as injuries, illnesses and other unforeseen circumstances as well as provide scholarships and support to those interested in jump starting their careers in the construction industry.
“This is a fantastic way to get in the holiday spirit, view the spectacular boat parade and benefit two incredibly important and impactful community organizations,” Children’s Harbor CEO Tiffani Dhooge said. “You could also bring together colleagues and turn this into your company holiday party.”
Guests will enjoy an open bar, buffet dinner, networking, prime viewing for the Winterfest Boat Parade along the intracoastal and the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for such items as tickets to the Pegasus World Cup. Sponsorships are still available. Tickets to Operation Santa’s Workshop: Holiday Party are $200. For more information visit https://e.givesmart.com/events/t2n/
