VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO DELIVER THANKSGIVING MEALS

The Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center (CDTC), a subsidiary of Broward Health, is seeking volunteers to deliver Thanksgiving meal bags and frozen turkeys to families across Broward County during its 34th Annual Thanksgiving Basket Brigade.

With the help of volunteers, CDTC aims to provide Thanksgiving meals to more than 800 families, ensuring children with special healthcare needs and their loved ones can share in the holiday tradition.

For 34 years, CDTC has helped bring Thanksgiving to families navigating the challenges of caring for a child with complex medical needs, often while facing financial hardship and food insecurity. More than a meal, the Basket Brigade is a longstanding tradition that reminds families they are supported by a community that cares.

Volunteers are needed to help deliver meals directly to families’ homes and make the holiday brighter for those who need it most. Every helping hand makes a difference.

Sponsor a Family!
Donate $50 to provide a complete Thanksgiving meal for one family. Every sponsorship directly impacts a household in our community.
