Louie Bossi, Executive Chef/Partner at Big Time Restaurant Group’s Louie Bossi’s Ristorante, Bar & Pizzeria, will host the inaugural Taste of Recovery, a benefit for the Crossroads Clubs in Delray Beach, Florida. Crossroads Club, which is celebrating its 35th anniversary, provides a safe haven for anyone whose life has been adversely affected by, or through, the use of addictive substances.

The culinary festival will be held on Saturday, June 3 from 6 – 10 p.m. at the Old School Square Pavilion, during which guests will enjoy savory bites and desserts from a variety of area restaurants, along with live entertainment. The cost is $40 per ticket. Kids 12 and under are free. Crossroads founder, Tony A. will be recognized at the event.

Big Time Restaurant Group restaurants will participate in the event including Louie Bossi’s Boca, Rocco’s Tacos and Tequila Bar and City Oyster & Sushi Bar. Other restaurants that have agreed to participate include Mario’s Ocean Ave in Lantana, and The Grille on Congress in Boca Raton. Chef Louie is encouraging additional restaurants to participate and a final list will be announced in the spring. Participating chefs will compete for cash prizes for “Best Bite” and “Best Dessert. “

“Almost every family, including my own, has been impacted by addiction and I’m proud to be in my 9th year of recovery, which might not have been possible without the support of the Crossroads Club,” said Louie Bossi. “The restaurant industry in particular has large numbers of employees in recovery, and this event will be a tribute to these brave individuals and will help support them and others who need assistance in overcoming substance and alcohol abuse.”
