FAU’s Peaceful Mind/Peaceful World Series Presents Caroline Myss Lecture to Address the Mystical Role in Healing
BOCA RATON – Florida Atlantic University’s peace studies program in the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters and the Peaceful Mind/Peaceful World series presents author Caroline Myss with a lecture on Thursday, March 4 at 7 p.m. Myss’ lecture will take place in the FAU Arena on the Boca Raton campus. Myss specializes in an area called energy medicine and human consciousness. She aims to assist people in understanding the emotional, psychological and physical reasons of why their bodies have developed an illness. Myss is a “New York Times” best-selling author. She will discuss her latest book Defy Gravity: Healing Beyond the Bounds of Reason, which explores the mystical qualities involved in the experience of healing. Myss’ other books include Anatomy of the Spirit, Why People Don’t Heal and How They Can, Sacred Contracts, and Entering the Castle.
Myss has been on the Oprah Winfrey Show several times since her first appearance in 2002. In 2001, she hosted a television series on the Oxygen network titled “The Journey with Caroline Myss.”
